Hi folks! Dave and Janice back with you. In this video we take you to Maggie Wash Slot Canyon near Alamo Lake in Arizona. So what the heck is a slot canyon, you ask.
According to wikipedia, “A slot canyon is a long, narrow channel or drainageway with sheer rock walls that are typically eroded into either sandstone or other sedimentary rock. A slot canyon has depth-to-width ratios that typically exceed 10:1 over most of its length and can approach 100:1”.
Maggie Wash Slot Canyon sure does fit that description! So come along with us as we explore it as well as find some interesting things along the way to it!
