Hi there, folks!
Dave and Janice back again with another stop on the Mystery Tour that our daughter put together for us. This time we visit a reconstructed early-1900s log chute located on Byers Creek near Combermere, Ontario.
Located in “Crooked Slide Park”, the log chute was used by loggers in the early 1900s to divert logs around a bend and rapids on the creek as the logs made there way to the Madawaska River.
We had absolutely no idea this thing existed, even though we’ve driven past the park countless times!
If you haven’t seen the previous videos in this series we urge you to check them out. Here’s a link to the playlist containing all of them.
Please like, subscribe, and give us a “thumbs up”. It really does help us (and our channel) immensely. Also, please feel free to share a link to this video with anyone you think might be interested.
Thanks for joining us, and thanks to our daughter for going through all the effort to put the myster tour package together for us. We had a blast!
